Bari Zeiger ‘16
Major: Philosophy
Career: Zeiger is the owner and operator of Healing Poem Farm, a small organic farm dedicated to bolstering the resilience and diversity of ecosystems and local food systems alike. “The ability to form persuasive, logical arguments allowed me to successfully present a farm intensification and expansion plan to the CEO of the organization I was employed at. In addition, my background in ethical theory and environmental ethics provides a lens through which I evaluate certain methods employed on the farm.”

Why study philosophy at Geneseo?
Geneseo is a great place to study philosophy: the department is open and friendly, class sizes are small, and majors are encouraged to combine philosophy with other majors.
