Ferrell serves as SUNY Geneseo's Lighting and Sound Designer and Technical Director. His design experience includes work in Western New York, Oregon, Kansas, and Tennessee. Before his arrival at Geneseo, he taught at Willamette University in Oregon. His teaching includes Introduction to Technical Theatre, Stagecraft, Lighting and Sound Design, Technical Direction, and Stage Management. He is a member of the United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) and the Stage Managers Association (SMA).
